I know this is frustrating for you and I can only urge you to keep up the fight! It's like standing in the middle of a field screaming and nobody hears you...at least you have the "name recognition" to have some people listen to what we know is the truth. The last time I was in to see my family doctor, I counted 3 drug reps that went to the back for every patient that was admitted. It's no wonder our doctors only get one side of the story!

Well the AMA brainwashed everyone into thinking that the future and hope is in chemo treatment. I could not believe how closed off those doctors were. I was shocked! What are they so afraid of? Wouldn't you want to know absolutely everything you could know in order to treat your patients in the best way? I do not want doctors like that. And I don't think most other folks do either. I like the parable about the Zen master and the professor. When we close off our minds, we cease to grow. Those two doctors are no longer growing. And that is very sad.

I agree with Patsy--the doctor sitting next to you was outright RUDE. He was stammering and pandering so as to look less arrogant but it didn't work. I won't use the words I first thought of to describe both conventional doctors when I watched it, 'cause I know this is moderated. . .but they're in the first chapter of Knockout. You could see that they were just brimming with vinegar they wanted to let loose on the air but they were outnumbered. The one sitting next to you did not have the courtesy to speak to you, just sort of talk around you and NEVER once had the courtesy you had, Suzanne. And the guy on the feed looked like he was holding onto "dumb blonde" until just the right moment. He couldn't get slapped in a remote newsroom location, though he never got his chance.

Dunno, you think 18 best-selling books has anything to do with it? I live in a part of Houston with a large concentration of dumb blondes. Suzanne is NOT one, and way outclasses all of them.

Really, I was mad when I read the first chapter (on the medical fiasco) and mad after I watched the interview because of the way the two conventional doctors treated you and Dr. Burzynski and Dr. Gonzales on the air. As usual, Suzanne, you were a consummate professional and stated your case without being arrogant.

BTW, my birthday was the 26th, and I once again made the chocolate cake in your original Somersize Desserts book. I make it every year for me and only me. There is no other. Yum.

I think you did a great job on the Larry King show and I am proud of you for standing up for what should be a freedom of choice to everyone. I think we should be given all the choices. I firmly believe that there are cures for cancer, diabetes, and many others but what would the companies do without the money and then of course the population control without people dying and actually living longer. I just have to wonder about the oath that doctors take when the become doctors, "FIRST DO NO HARM" and when the success rate or lack of success with chemo is so harmful why should other treatments not be made available. We are not allowed to sue when forced to treat our selves and children with the standard couse of treatment when it does not work and they/we die, so then no suing if the alternative does not work. This is such a large problem that I hope more get on board to help fight the fight and bless you for taking on the task of trying to inform others of their choices.

Suzanne, I just want to say that I pray for God's blessings over you and for continued strength so you can keep spreading your message for many years to come. It's easy for those who won't even bother themselves to learn the facts to dismiss your central message by saying that you're 'only out to make a buck with another book' (comment on a blog), to call you names (and also to those of us who support you in any way) and to pick mercilessly at anything they can to make you look bad because they really have no other real ammunition. It does make me sad though that with their bile they're dragging away others who might've listened, I sure couldn't take so much pressure so I admire the grace with which you are facing those who oppose and even ridicule you, so I want to thank you for taking some of the "bullets" for the rest of us.

By the way, early this year I found out that all my health problems have their origin in a fungal problem but I never heard any of the many doctors I consulted in the past remotely suggest such a possibility, they all just went on to treat my symptoms and some even "fired" me because I was not satisfied with that. So, to me your book only confirms things that I've been learning recently and thanks to someone else* who's taken the cause to spread his message about how fungus and their mycotoxins can affect our health. I'm sure if it hadn't been for that I'd been doing much worse by now as I was spinning in a fast downward spiral. One thing I learned with amazement since I began researching all about mold/fungus and illness 7 months ago is that there are tons of diseases that can and are constantly misdiagnosed by doctors. As far as I'm concerned, the only MDs that command my respect now are those that have crossed over to alternative medicine and practice INTEGRATIVE medicine instead of just allopathic.

*This person is Doug Kauffman, book author and host of the TV show "Know The Cause" and www.knowthecause.com. I think both of you should get together, it would just be great!

Suzanne, I'm so glad you were able to tell the nation what was done to you in that hospital. Although the show focused on cancer treatment, I found what happened to you even more disturbing. These doctors didn't know what was wrong with you, but were only guessing, but would not admit that. What if you had agreed to chemo like a typical person might? If the medical industry is going to treat you this way, as a famous outspoken person, what chance do regular people have? They misdiagnosed you, cut you open and then quarantined you. Luckily you got out, but then they tried to force you to take a bunch of harmful drugs. This type of horrible and arrogant treatment happens to people every day, and often they don't leave the hospital before they are harmed. Thank you for speaking out. People are listening. I know it's difficult when you are so viciously attacked by the medical community, but keep fighting.

I have a couple of questions for you Suzanne.
Firstly, what explanation do you have for the severe fungal infection you suffered? Such attack by fungus occurs almost exclusively in immuno-compromised people such as those taking large doses of steroids. Is there any possibility that your regime of bio-identical hormones (another form of synthetic hormones), and supplements had a hand in this? I'm not saying this is so, I'm just suggesting it as a possibility which needs to be addressed. I suggest that it is your ethical responsibility as a person attempting to influence the population to take up your regime to investigate further if this is a possibility, and to refrain from touting your regime until you are sure this is not the case. I'm sure you would not wish to be inadvertently causing harm to those you wish to help.
Secondly, when will you name the hospital involved in your terrible treatment? Surely it will be in everyone's best interest for you to name this hospital, and allow the doctors to justify their position. To other readers of this blog, please ask yourselves the real reason why Suzanne would refuse to name these doctors and this hospital. If there are no inaccuracies in her narration of what happened she has nothing to lose and much to gain. Is she prepared to let others suffer what she did?

Suzanne, I was very interested in something that you said on the Larry King show...you did not get to finish your sentence. It was something you said about one of your sypmtoms, a breathing problem. You then mention something about living in Southern Calif. and regarding to the breathing problem at least that is what I thought you were saying, as I said you did not get to finish your sentence. The reason I am so interested is about 15 years ago my father died and we never knew why. He was 58 and a farmer in Riveside County...one day he was working alone when he started having a breathing problem (as far as we know that is all that happened) that it took his whole body to breath. His arms were flaying around his intire body was moving just to breath. He drove his truck to where my mother was and they called an ambulance and in 2 hours he was dead. My dad was not sick ever and he had just gotten a clean bill of health a few months before. Just before he died they had told us that he was going to be fine and they were just waiting for a room to move him. Not to long after that they came and told us that it did not look like he was going to make it...ten mins. later they told us he had died. For all these years we have no reason why he died. All we really know is that he could not breath. My mom believes it was "Valley Fever" I am not even sure if that is a true illness. She just had heard about it and has to hang on to some reason as to why he died. If you have never heard of Vally Fever it has something to do with the earth quakes and the dust that is in the air due to them. I was hoping you could tell me what you were about to say about Southern Calif. and breathing problems. I have been looking for an answer for years as to why he died, not a spiritual reason but a medical reason even the doctor and everyone envolved in taking care of him in the hospital were shocked.

I have a lot of health problems and have had a lot of experience with doctors and I feel that someone has to take them on. I truley hope that people listen to you and it saves lives. My dad died and no one can tell us why. We made an appointment with the doctor, coroner report in hand to ask him why and he was angry. He was my dad's doctor who else were we suppose to ask?

As a 10 year breast cancer survivor who underwent surgery, radiation and chemo, I think it is very irresponsible for you to question the value of chemotherapy in its effectiveness to not only destroy cells that may have metaztisized, but to also reduce the likelihood of recurrence. I also cannot believe based on my own experience and with the assumption that you have access to the best oncologists that six doctors could have misdiagnosed your "full body cancer." Why don't you disclose their names so that the board of medical examiners can conduct investigations into their alledged incompetence. You are treading on thin ice when you promulgate unproven alternative treatments versus scientifically tested, reliable protocols endangering others as well as yourself.

After investigations from several doctors, Suzanne has not been able to determine what brought on the sudden symptoms of her Valley Fever. Many people carry Valley Fever as a dormant virus, especially those who live in the Southwest region of the country. She chose not to identify or take legal action against the hospital in question because she wanted to do something positive with this experience that would actually help people. I'm sure the doctors involved appreciate the fact that she has not named them in the book. If you investigate Valley Fever, you will see it is often misdiagnosed as cancer. In the end, the doctors at the hospital got to the correct diagnosis - but Suzanne was put through the ringer until they were able to eliminate cancer, TB, and leprosy as possiblities. And she was told to take several extremely strong medicines until the cultures came back to confirm the correct diagnosis. These details are all documented in KNOCKOUT.

Congratulations Suzanne! I believe this book is very important to make lots of additional persons aware of a cancer running rampant in the quality of cancer treatment. People are stubborn accepting a gross unmoral situation even enforcing it!!! It will take a critical mass of persons wishing and demanding a correction before any change for the better will come, and apparently we are still very far.
I hope a translation of Knockout to Spanish is in preparation. If not I would be willing to help on that. WE need to become active!

I'm just a mom who wanted to share my duaghter's illness from 11 years ago with someone who can appreciate alternative medicine. I am trying to get the medical world to open up to me about how my child could have had such a devastasting life-threatening illness and beat it naturally; no medical drugs whatsoever but the silence on their part is deafening. You see, back in 1998 my then 4-year old Amanda was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis. It is a VERY rare and VERY deadly blood disorder affecting children. What this illness does is our bodies produce histiocytes and they are responsible for gathering the garbage in our blood and dispensing it through our bodily fluids. When HLH occurs, the histiocytes go crazy and start eating our platelets too. Well, our daughter was diagnosed with this illness and after much aspirin (120 miligrams per kilogram of body weight), two bone marrow aspirations, a liver biopsy, two spinal taps, blood transfusions, and four brain surgeries in 36 hours, chemotherapy and a diagnosed relapse of the illness, it was highly recommended by our hematologist in our state and the expert in the country that she needed a bone marrow transplant. We did our own research and discovered that anybody with liver damage (our daughter lost 73% of her liver) has lower survival rate of BMT so we decided against it. We prayed to God and he led us to a chiropractor in Pennsylvania. Usually when I say people think we were crazy, but this chiropractor we believe saved our daughter's life.


We changed her diet, saw the chiropractor on a regular basis (we live in IL and she ws in PA so it was a lot of travel for a year or two), and gave her lots of Love. To make a real long story short, she is today an almost 16-year old physically healthy and very happy young lady. She has neurologic damage and will not be able to drive, go to college or probably live on her own, but she is happy and physically healthy.

I have contacted medical doctors and the Histiocytosis Society of America trying to get answers on how she can be alive today when we were told in May of 1999 if we did not transplant within three months she would be dead. Nobody seems to have an answer or really care about her miraculous survival. Their deafening silence really is perplexing. According to what I have been able to find out about this illness, no child in the history of this has ever survived this long (10 years and counting) w/o medical intervention; especially without a BMT. Since she had gone in remission for a few months but had been rediagnosed with it, it is seen as a familial form not an acquired form and therefore no child can survive w/o a BMT.

I guess I just wanted to share her story with you because it is not everyday that somebody survives a cancer-like illness w/o medical intervention. Most of us get so scared and go to the medical world for help we don't consider alternative to be viable. How many thousands more people would survive if they only gave alternative medicine a try? Our daughter is one of the healthiest kids in school and considering we don't vaccinate and that drives people crazy too, it must say something for a healthy diet, distilled drinking water, a strong belief in our Lord and lots of love.

Thank you for letting me share my story with you. You are an inspiration to many who will be facing serious health issues this year. My prayers go to you and your family.

I did not see the Larry King interview but I did just finish reading Knockout this morning. Thank you so much for this valuable information. I had surgery for squamous cell carcinoma this summer, no radiation or chemo thankfully. I am currently searching for new doctors/nutritionist to help get myself healthy and on track to not have a recurrence. I am struggling with hypothyroidism, hormone issues and now something in my back from my last pet scan, likely a disc issue I hope. The information in the book has given me a place to start searching in NY, Long Island area or NYC.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your hard work on the book "Knockout." The question I have is this: How does one know which doctor's protocol would be the best for a cancer patient? Each doctor has his own ideas on cancer treatment and possible cure. Some are specific in targeting certain types. My niece has bladder cancer. Which wouold be the best doctor for her to contact or should she contact several? Thanks.

YOU ARE MY NEW SUPERHERO! Thank you for your wonderful book. My family and I have been using a Naturopathic doctor for about 10 years now. We do not even go to medical doctors anymore (except for Emergencies). Our doctors cures
everything we get (YES I SAID THE WORD CURE!) because he finds the cause. We also have a dog that was diagnosed with a sarcoma and only given 2 months to live by the vet. He was on his death bed as he couldn't even move and he wasn't even eating and I decided that I would take his cancer on. I researched his cancer with books by Ralph Moss and took a trip to the health food store. Within days he was off the ground and within three weeks he was like a puppy (he was 6 at the time). After six months, I took him off the herbs and supplements and a year later he got another one. Since then he stays on the supplements and that was three years ago. He is as healthy as ever. I relay this story because there is a wealth of knowledge out there but there is also BIG money out there trying to discourage people from learning the truth. THANK YOU for helping the real people out there and following your God given path. He knows you can handle it...
