I am the adult child of an alcoholic. My childhood, along with the childhoods of my brothers and sisters, was robbed by a terrible and painful disease no one wanted to talk about.

It's intensely personal, and starkly honest for a reason– I want you to know there is hope and there is help. I made it out. This is my story.

Love Suzanne, what to know more about her life. Made me admire her even more
Got this in the monthly box! Excited to read it.
I’m giving this five stars because I have all of Suzanne’s other books and love them all. I haven’t had time to read this one yet but already know it’s five stars. Would love if one of her granddaughter’s could make this into an Audible book. I love to listen while working around the house.
As soon as it arrived that evening I started it and could not put this real life story her story down. Suzanne becomes so vunerable letting us all in her real life journey . What sticks out in my mimd is how strong she became and what a wonderful mother she was to her son a love so deep and I beieve Bruce cherishes their special bond every day. If you adore Suzanne like I had grown to over the years of her 27 books she has written this is probably the beat book to start with . It will make you laugh , cry, think and be inspired and if possible loe her evn more. Rest in Peace my Beautiful friend. XOXO
